in fact it was most likely to be Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven who had the idea for 'fountain'..but duchamp takes all the credit Well, that's a (new, for me) point of view – got any specific evidence of that? It's a long time ago and Duchamp was already busy with ready mades – for a couple of years previously. Interesting. Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven was a character without doubt!

Love a bit of Fabriano – sublime surface and almost edible deckle edges.

Missed it too. How much was it? sorry - not sure. I didn't see the pricing page £80 + whatever print or book you bought at the same time. All options sold out within an hour.

The mini set they did at Laz a couple of years ago (for 3D's show) was something else. Loved it – mostly based around PiL (Public Image) and Bauhaus (Bela Lugosi), bass-tastic!

I've got two tickets for this talk ( Feb 21st, Boileroom in Guildford ) but can't now go ( I've got tickets instead for Sleaford Mods at the 100 Club - haven't been there since Discharge in the early 80's ) so if anyone wants a couple of free tickets for the evening drop me a PM. HaHa! Think I might have been there as well... small world. "Something, something... fucking system!"

Paris GrafLooks like graf is alive and kicking, despite talk of its demise and commodification. Some beautiful and witty stuff here 50 years on and the dark humour of the 68 boys and girls is still bubbling in a country founded by revolution PS Hi all long time no post / Love the way at least one of the translations has been 'sanitised', for British readers.
