I can believe it, so much amazing detail – how long do they take to complete (roughly) So far I've spent roughly 25 hours cutting mine. The last layer will probably take another 5 or 6 Respect – look forward to seeing the completed artwork!

Not yet mate, I caught some sickness bug off of a colleague so i haven't cut the last layer yet I'm hoping to start cutting it tomorrow - then paint maybe Tuesday or Wednesday depending on how long it takes lol. Your lion looks awesome mate! Cheers, look forward to yours I paint each layer after cutting, I don't know how you hold off and resist These ones sure do take a long time to cut, lost count of how many hours I spent on the lion. I can believe it, so much amazing detail – how long do they take to complete (roughly)

serious question - when she was alive, was Princess Di really as beloved as history (in the US at least) has made her out to be? No. Agree.

I painted this lion stencil, but the first 3 dark layers were damaged when spraying. Here it is next to the first version. Do you think the missing layers affect it too much, or is it still ok without them? Amazing work – prefer the one on the right, a little more texture/brightness gives the image a lift. (Edit) just looked again... the darkness on the cheek (do lions have cheeks?) and under the chin really add an extra dimension. In short what mickeydread said

Great idea for a thread I've just been reading "A history of the world in 100 objects" based on the Radio 4 programme from a few years ago. Great book! Really enjoyed it.

Agreed, some lovely work. I enjoy the combination of the art mixed with the eeriness of abandoned buildings. Yep. You can almost smell the places just looking at the photo's.
