sakyamuni, I believe that one is still available. Original list was 6,000EU, but I imagine you could get it for 5,000EU or less. It is large too; 130cm x 97cm

sala, it should not be wavy. It sounds like it should have been stretched tighter. While those massive works were out of reach, the 91cm x 91cm canvases they each did for the current Surface show at Allouche Gallery were more affordable. Yes they looked a bit loose. As for the Surface show didnt really bother asking considering the price range of INTER ARMA but yee they are much smaller. That s great for future exhibitions. Is it me or TO ANOTHER UNIVERSE has some IK pre-2013 taste?

Although, as a counterpoint, Waone's other painting from the show "The Magus" was painted very slowly from 2008-2014

in some cases, i feel the color work (paintings and works on paper) benefit from the less is more approach they had going pre2013 whereas the ink drawings i prefer to be packed with lots of detail and complexity . all depends on teh work of course, as aec's newest painting is probably my favorite he has done.

Yee ,amazing how they have been evolving in these last few years.
Judging from their whole production imho they also evolved as human beings and they have developed a more focused mindset of what they intend to communicate. If older works mixed actual facts with some more distant worlds, characters were more unpersonal, far more less details as you guys said, the new productions seems to tell a very contemporary story, facts that we see in the news or reading in the newspaper everyday. Also the painting technicque has evolved. Cant really explain this but the later works have something more addictive and unique to the older ones.
Would be glad if anybody want to add to this or give another perspective.

sala, I agree with your assessment. I think the social commentary has always been there to a certain extent, but it was always in a much broader sense. The works seem more focused now, both in symbolism and in technique. I also share your preference for the newer works. The depth to the work makes them more interesting to study.

Here are my prints.First time i take a pic of the three together and noticed how different it looks a standard glass(IFW and TM) compared to a museum one(EoT).Changed framer after IFW as too expensive, kind of regretting now not to have framed them with museum glass all of them. Was extremely expensive with first framer.

Perth - Australia Waone painted a piece titled Rainbow Serpent, which was influenced by the a mythological figure, often a creator god, that is a common motif in the art of Aboriginal Australia. Along with the main image of of the Rainbow Serpent’s reptile seeing eye, the artist also included several details that are related to the area. For example, the stripy Numbat is a small marsupial that is found only in Western Australia’s southwest corner. Also, a red-tailed black cockatoo that is named in honour of English naturalist, Joseph Banks.
AEC’s contribution titled Memory of the Land is focused on showing the contrast between the past and modern times, between the pre-colonial and colonial part of Australian history. The main image is the Banksia flower which symbolizes native aboriginal men, with a turning wheel and running red man in it, that refers to the non-stopping heart. In one hand, a rock is seen (the symbol of eternity), and in the other hand, a bouquet of skulls (victims of colonization). The lower part of the mural symbolizes modern times people depicted as humanoid kangaroos, hopping around their daily routines.
