Following on the discussion about older versus newer works, I have a 2009 AEC original painting (on paper) in my collection, and it was one that I bought a year or two ago some four to five years after it was created. I really like the colors and detail in the newer works, but this is an image that haunted me after I first saw it. Simple, direct, but deep - I spent months tracking it down and then negotiating to buy it. For me, the message is as powerful as anything IK has done.

I also have an original drawing that Waone did in late 2013, and the difference in conplexity of the image when compared to my painting from 2009 is readily apparent. Titled Edge of Time ...

Overall, I prefer the new works, but that one is excellent, treweman.

Love the painting in Catania, nicely represents what is going on in the Italian society. As for general concept and theme I definitely prefer the newer works as said before but this you have treweman it s very nice. The only thing about newest painting is that they somehow look darker...they both seems to have changed the use of light. The older ones were more flat,uni-dimensional but also brighter. Also the brush stroke seemed to have changed. The general feeling of the older ones reminds me early BLU's works(under alias RAKTO) in the 90s.
