This has been posted elsewhere but thought I'd add a separate thread as its the last print Dale will release in this size and at this price
Dales print released at Upfest 'I am not a child' will be available tonight at 6pm from Dales Bigcartel site
This is the last print Dale will be releasing at this size and price so grab one while you can! Smashing print - managed to get one at Upfest. Full details and link below form an email sent to Dales mailing list earlier today:
The series is based around a real life personal experience and overcoming battles with mental health. After being released from hospital in 1999 Dales life was damaged to the point of needing care for a number of years with an inability to cope on a day to day basis. Marshall again became a child at the age of 25 and could not make any decisions of his own.
'I am not a child' celebrates overcoming this difficult period of time. He is now able to make concious decisions whilst watching his young children wonderfully and freely express their painting around the kitchen table. This reflection has informed the series with raw childlike finishing that has the feel and look of an original work on paper.
