I have a banksy back door print, it's one of the Palestine separation wall prints, the beach image. It have a couple of creases on the edges but nothing major.
There are no more of these nocking about and this was the only one he had. it was a gift to me by the printer who printed the edition hes had it stored in a drawer for the past 10 years, this is the only genuine back door print of this image you'll ever see there were no other extras printed just this one. Rock solid provenance however obviously no COA.
Not sure what to value it at, I've seen Backdoor prints that are obviously fake sale for over £500
If anybody is genuinely interested or has an offer shoot me a pm.

Was this a Small edition VIP print? Not sure how the main edition was sold but it was an edition of 15. I was told they were all sold before they even left the printers

Just my opinion but unsigned, not annotated , non unique prints lose value the farther they travel from the source. Esp in the Banksy world with its history of later reprints. As it was a gift you probably did not ask for a letter of provenance from the printer when he gsve it to you. That would have helped long term to trace the history.
My thought is that you were about right with your first post, about 500 pounds give or take.

What do you think a fair price would be for this Cheers Toast I've paid between $200 and $600 for the backdoors I have (all from a reputable source of course), depending on the image and rarity they've come up. but these are really only worth whatever someone is willing to pay on any given day, since there's no established sales history some more info:

Email is better than nothing, but I'm talking about something on the company letterhead going into detail how he was involved in the creation of the prints and how he came to keep that particular print outside of the edition. Including dates etc.
These kept printer proofs get a bit sticky because in point of fact, unless given to Him from the artist, they really are the property of the artist. That can create resale problems long term even if PC change their rather overbearing guidelines of which genuine prints receive authentication, which in itself is unlikely.
I met a guy that printed photographs in NYC for the biggest contemporary photogagraphers and made it a point to clear out trash bins of proofs and as such had an array of amazing photos he could only basically give away compared to what the real editions were worth.

Im sure I can get a letter like that from him no problem.
