adman The really first first edition ( sorry , I thought that I got 3 ) is Dangling in the Tournefortia at The Black Sparrow Press books, 1981. I tried it to sell it on ebay.com ( usa/uk ) for 20 euros, nobody wanted it, lol ! Love is the Dog from Hell is the 9 edition The Days Run Away Like Wild Horses Over The Hills, 14' printing lol ! All the rest is in French. Yes the US editons are wonderfull ! Classy and quality. French ones look poor... IN a moment in the video he tried to touce the knees of the woman glasses lol ! The man with the moustache wanted to give him a knock ion his face - if he does not shut up. It was great ! In the 70 ! Incredible at the French TV. All the others authors were " classiccis " one. Bukowski always like France for his poets, Germany for his music ( he was a bit German too ) ... Me too I was shy with girls, etc; etc ( I was so thin as a match and have a lot of spots - buttons ? - on the face, in fact Bukowksi made me laugh a lot and teach me to drink beers ! thanks so much mate ! That is one hell of a moustache!

Game maybe between them ... ( the " moustache " - Cavanna - was in Charlie Hebdo team but dies just one year before the killing in Paris ) I met him few times when I was in Paris, he has lost his son of 19 because overdose of drugs .. It was a man with a big mouth, very revolutionary and freedom one ( as Charlie's team ) Anyway I never like Cavanna... But I was sad for Buk 's death as from my other " B " heroe, Edward Bunker, the man who has spent hundred of years in St Quentin and other U.S. Jails ( he is Mister White, I think, in Reservoir Dogs ). His writing is strong, very great! Try his trilogy of the Beast !

with all the murmurs of celebrity guest lists and VIP prints, I'd be really happy if the event somehow subverted the entire art establishment and wealthy socialites beyond the usual "Morons..." themes in his work and anti-gallery rhetoric...something to say that no matter how much people have bought into him (both figuratively and literally), that his ideas can't be sold
I don't know what or how that would be, but that's why he's Banksy and I'm not. no matter what is happening, I can't wait to see it unfold

This is why your FR's etc are frantically selling Adams, Chevrier and any other bits they can in order get in on it. So obvious And I thought I was the only one to see this!!!!!! :-) Everyone and his mother is selling work at the moment to get the funds together, looking at the amount some of the bigger names are selling ( who obviously know) I would say the new print will be around 3-5k.
people are not scared to spend big if they think they can make a decent turnover- remember the Laz Micallef sets @ 5k + vat a pop ? sold out same day. near riots when queuers didnt get hold of one. indeed, fights between queuers over percieved slights. you can now get these terrible prints for bog paper money. asking £x,xxx for a new print will not change the uptake , just maybe the rate of the uptake and the initial ownership demographic structure.

Banksy will never sell in public a print at more than 600 £ , even less. He is not a f.ckin capitalist and have still his rebel mind close to the people and fans. If they sell at 5 knot 1k , it will be for rich men, vip or collectors. So, no regret for everybody : The rich can pay, the poor won't cry. We call that justice.

He should do a Adam Neate and leave some around the country but release some clues to locate, imagine the pr in that and no pricing or queue jumping issues. He can still do his OG's via Laz if a bit strapped for cash :-) Anyone remember a book from the 70's/80's where there was a golden Hare buried somewhere and you bought the book to locate it? I think someone did a geocache promotion last year too where they buried a car in a lorry container.

Laz, POW, 99p store. Does it matter in the context of my post? I'll get a lawyer to check my posts before submitting in future or make sure I end them all with allegedly.
