Got some tickets for lastnight for a friend via a member here. My friends travelled from London and was turned away... It really isn't good. £150 down after trying to do someone a favour

I am horrified, this is an absolute nightmare. |

I finally made it there yesterday daytime (thanks to a member here helping me snag some tickets) and was really blown away by the whole thing - I thought it would be good but wasn't prepared for how much I enjoyed it. Seeing the Reaper in his dodgem was a real joy. Wish I'd paid less attention to the photos in advance though as I did feel that I knew what was coming next to a degree. My kids (13 & 10) loved it - we did all the rides, argued with the staff, etc What was interesting was how the kids either knew already or understood from the work what the issues/messages being put across were. In fact the only thing my 10 year old daughter didn't like was the guy in the insect/bast headdress thing creeping up on people. All in all a great family day out despite a total of 5 1/2 hours in the car. I've got a spare Dismaland guide that I'd like to pass on to someone who for whatever reason can't make it. Let me know if you'd like it and I'll choose a worthy recipient.  Cheers E |
