In case anyone else is interested, i've been fascinated with digging deeper into Paco Pomet's work since seeing it first hand at dismaland. I've contacted all 3 galleries that carry his work and was surprised to learn his paintings cost (much) less than I would have thought. the 60x80cm works are generally priced between $5-6k and to my eyes that's an awful lot of talent for the price point. Hello everybody, I own three Paco Pomet's oils: Internacional ( the cookie monster one that has been displayed in Dismaland ), Custodia, and Tumor. I also have a couple of drawings and a print. I would like to inform you that a selection of his works will be displayed in the Barker museum, in Naples ( Florida ), from november to march. |

That is so bad I have a hard time believing it is anything but a joke If the Dismal staff get a gift print / memento they deserve it, their contribution to making Dismaland what is was is undoubted. But seriously give them something that looks nice !! |

The pic actually looks like it's a fake piece. IMO far too busy to be a Banksy with all the sky/clouds and grass details. Does not look like its a piece by him.

We will see!! really? think it looks legit to me... compared to say, Sirens of the Lambs, the style strokes look spot on. but lord knows I've been wrong before  |

Not the road the sky or shops in background etc For me this has far too many details and a lot of detail of the incidentals sky, grass etc. which is not his usual style. IMO so this is why I think it's a fake. But likewise just what I think Mind similarly on the stroke stuff it's a bit too alike eg copied style as apprised to a different piece |
