is it really yours ? ( Toast won't answered me until I will sell him my Stik mum , lol ) If so that's great ! No, sadly it's not mine Roy. I got nothing for my contribution to Dismaland. NOTHING. Which, to be fair........was nothing. but Toast ?! He was at Dismaland? A member of the staff ?

No. I think he's reposted that image from the internet and didn't mean to imply he/she was there. I don't think any forum members with any connection to Dismaland would mention that or reveal it online. And they wouldn't show their gift print off. There are a couple of images of the rainbow riot truck taken from the instagram accounts of ex-Dismal Stewards.

On the subject of the gift prints, seeing as how we all praised the staff for their contribution towards making Dismaland such a huge success, I really hope the art anoraks aren't harassing them to sell their gift prints. That would be rude. If they want to sell them, then I'm sure they will do, but right now, I hope they're not being emailed about the prints.

I am sure quite a few of these will be on sale very quickly, and the staff have every right to do so I guess. Pretty sure they are not all filthy rich kids so the moolah will be more than welcome. I would rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty nail than hang this on my wall so I will hang my anorak and not bother anyone :-)

Absolutely. For a few of the staff, it could well be their chance to clear debt or put the money towards something useful.

Just out of interest, what is it about the Dismaland staff print that people don't like? The idea of kids playing in a riot van is an ok one, can carry a plethora of meanings etc and is straight down the Banksy alley so nowt wrong there But seriously the execution looks, to me, as a farce, a parody of a print - the rainbow, why ? - the little fountain on top - the ducks - even the two kids on the roof look like a bad joke The print is too busy with all of this kitsch detail, it doesn't work for me as an image or as a statement Or maybe it is meant that way, as a burlesque print ? Agree with @toast that this is a great memento if you have a connection to the place from working there. In that case this enchanted kitsch print probably talks to you... But for those who were not gifted one I really don't get the appeal of having it apart from the obvious...it's a rare Banksy innit

You are right, I am sure that they harass them ( I saw some comments under the IG pics ). THen, the one on ebay ( I put a bit for fun what it was at 5 quids ) have been takin off : the seller have sold it, I am sure, or Banksy or his PR asked him, but I don't think so.

Btu It is a Banksy. Anyway all these guys and stewards have been surely very well paid for their month, so, as say Mattl, it's a gift ( Banksy won't offer them a Mona Lisa reloaded )

If Banksy owns the reproduction rights to the gift print image, he can just ask people nicely not to sell copies of it, I guess.

Just out of interest, what is it about the Dismaland staff print that people don't like? I love the truck and the kid climbing up the front in particular, the rainbows too chocolate box for me and pastel, if I worked at disma I'd be delighted and monetary value aside it would mean a lot personally. No doubt it will sell well if/when the time comes, it is wall friendly.

Ah ah ah, yest, But I had potion magic ( pints ) and vitamins ( steck and kidney pie ) ! English are so lovely ! Youths were great with me ! The only thing that is funny it that we don't see the same distance : my hotel xwas supposed to be at 10 minutes of Dismalnd per example, ( as the railway station ) and it took more than 40 minutes to go from A to B.. Yeah, I walked a lot, mamma mia ! Why the money is so funny too ( when i Was there Pounds was bigs ) , now it is the small one who have the bigger value ( the pound ) and the cents who are the bigger coin ! lol Funny, I love this country and the light ! Cheers mate !!! ps : If I had one too ;-D

Banksy's Dismaland heads for French refugee camp
A group of volunteers from Bristol have set off for a refugee camp in France with the fixtures and fittings from Banksy’s Dismaland ‘bemusement park’ The dismantled attraction, which stood for a month in the abandoned Tropicana lido in Weston-Super-Mare, was donated to group Aid Box Convoy by the artist following the park’s closure at the end of September. It is understood Banksy is also sending out a team of carpenters and builders to help re-use elements of Dismaland to build cooking stations and ‘five communal’ shelters at the camp. The Bemusement park was originally set to be re-assembled as the ‘Jungle’ camp in Calais but Imogen McIntosh, who is heading Aid Box Convoy, persuaded Banksy to give the materials to their Bristol-based relief effort. The team with around 300 boxes is understood to be heading to a smaller camp in northern France where conditions have been described as ‘horrendous’. Speaking to Bristol 24/7, McIntosh said: ‘Dismaland is all taken down now. We are left with huge sheets of wood and materials which we can use.’ According to McIntosh, the camp had rapidly grown in size over the last three weeks with the arrival of 600 extra people which had swelled the population to more than 1,000. The group plans to make future visits to France to help ‘three other camps in the area’. group of volunteers from Bristol have set off for a refugee camp in France with the fixtures and fittings from Banksy’s Dismaland ‘bemusement park’ The dismantled attraction, which stood for a month in the abandoned Tropicana lido in Weston-Super-Mare, was donated to group Aid Box Convoy by the artist following the park’s closure at the end of September. The Cheltenham Banksy piece is such a mess. The best that could happen to it now would be a midnight visit from Blanksy and a nice coat of illegal matt white.
