Put in a few ISO threads on the other place. It's a long shot but if anyone has one for sale then let me know.
Cheers

There are 3 available at finn.no, altough they are priced a bit high. Prob. could negotiate them down a bit, but not all that much. Priced at 1700-1800. One is framed (actually the cheapest one).

It is, I wouldnt put price that high on it, but its diffecult to say that 1200-1400 is market value when they dont sell all that often..

Don't mean to "thread-jack" but why are Dolk prints so expensive?... I do like some of his images, but I don't understand the demand...

First off, there isnt that many prints out there. His style is a bit like banksy, but more amusing and without the political agenda that banksy has. Altough, he do have some political works, e.g. Spray, Che Guevara and some regarding norwegian politics. A bit off topic.
With him being like Banksy and speculation that he's a persona Banksy uses for his more "lighter" works he gets an instant appeal. He's not Banksy. 99.8 % sure.
He's also from Norway, stencil art is very popular here and Dolk is the big star. Also, Norway is/were the land of milk and honey. Thus Norwegians can afford higher prices than most and with them buying up almost all works by Dolk his prices goes up.
There is also a import duty of 25 % to Norway, meaning that when a print goes to Norway it gets a 25% markup and seldom leaves the country again. So if you want a print and its not available in the UK you prob have to pay 25 % more ( at least) than you would in the UK.

Couldn't agree more. There's some stuff I just don't 'get' that others go mad over so it's each to his or her own when it comes to art I guess : )

The Norwegian connection makes sense. At least to my foggy brain...
I am a bit surprised how his art really exploded (price-wise) when there are several artists out there who stencil... Some better than others.

since this thread already is out of order:
IMO:
Dont think the fact that he's a norwegian is the key to his success. everything's expensive in norway, including art.
Dolks work have an edge I think lots of people find amusing/cool and there is mostly things in the motives you can spin you're head about. Also his work have a look like: that's a Dolk!
The fact that he is also playing his career smart with not dropping prints every month is not at drawback, keeping the works exclusive for the ones who have one.
