Yes talking about galleries rather than artists. Anyone ever indulged too much in the free drinks at a show and woken up with something they wouldn't of sober? Art of course.

Massive single malt whisky nut here. My obsession has taken me to Scotland many times visiting most of my favorite distilleries and have been lucky to meet and become great friends with several of my favorites as well which has made it possible for me to put a nice touch on my events. Last few were generously sponsored by Grant's with Glenfiddich & Hendrick's which I thought only proper to serve up a top shelf bar with great art and even better to have it on the house. Glenfiddich aside, Macallan and Glenfarclas are my other favorites but I have also been finding some fantastic single malts from Japan as well. Really love a smooth cherry oak single malt and a nice cigar with it doesn't hurt either, but that's another thread. Oh and a talented bartender never hurts either. Nice shot from our 2013 event.

Good to seeTsing Tao getting a couple of mentions @jeezusjonesjnr & alexdb. It comes from a City called Qingdao which is about 40 mins flight from Biejing and home of the Olympic sailing. Used to go there a lot at one time the local graft brew there is rather superb and they do a special one for their beer fest which is just class. Lot of good local lagers in China each City basically has its own one's with Tding Tao being the only real country wide one They do some relatively decent wines here a well and some spirits that would just blow your socks off at 70% proof When I get over next year I need to try some other local beers out. I spent 2 days in Qingdao there Johnny, great city and I was drinking Tsing Tao 'Dark' Long Neck bottles also, was hoping to get to the brewery. Another big city 14m people!! I cant handle the wine it's crazy strong over there and a 'quiet' lunch always turns into a 4 hr session Ha ha superb yep Quingdao is brill they also do a good beer fest me and bloke who worked with me were there as guests of the Mayor's office what a time completely mad. We were taken there as big VIP's as it was the mayor's office(not that we were it was just as his office).. So really surreal being treated as such as you get completely f'kin hammered at a beer fest. Did not take too long before we had to have our minder taken home as he could not walk. What a day we had. Just love the place. Museum is excellent all set up by and English guy and a German long long time ago. Glad you have been they do top brews there really wanna go back to the beer fest one day

And they do come in larger bottles which is also a win for me. :-)

Plenty of alcohol in Kenya... People like booze here. Just don't try cheap local brews as it is know for being deadly (few years ago, 400 people died at once) nor fermented alcohol from coconut or other any fruits, it has bad taste. Stick to brand and supermarket

Both my Parents are dead from alcoholism before 50. If you're drinking everyday, try cannabis. It's a nice controlled buzz, and it can't kill you. Peace
