Globally regarded as one of the most influential and celebrated street artists of his generation, on Thursday 22nd October Mr. Jago lands at Unit London for his landmark Solo exhibition, 'NIL'. 'NIL' is a solo exhibition of explosive new works from the Bristol-based artist, who, with numerous critically acclaimed exhibitions to his name in London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco in recent years, is one of the most internationally recognised and coveted street artists in the world. This brand new body of work explores notions of time, space and human progress; drawing comparisons between the beginning of time, and the end of life as we know it. The works reflect the hope and promise of a new world, but cannot hide an overbearing sense of despair towards the future of our planet. 'NIL' sees the introduction of oil paints into Mr Jago's work, for the very first time - hinting at a more experimental approach to his practice, which has undergone a process of evolution in recent years; the droid like figures of his early works replaced in this new series with an abstract and very modern response to the great tradition of landscape painting. Opens on the 22nd of October at 6 pm. Location: Unit London - 147-149 Wardour Street. W1F 8WD, London Facebook event page: www.facebook.com/events/1529761343951068/

Mr Jago has half a dozen new pieces in a group show at Inex Gallery in Brussels opening tomorrow (BXL really is the place to be this summer isn't it - MIMA, Dràn, Maya Hayuk). The show also features Okuda, M-City and Graphic Surgery and includes work on furniture made by designers Roche Bobois.
