I buy old photos from car boot sales. I have a problem.
(Fed, car boot sales are the UK version of garage sales. People take the entire contents of their garage into the middle of a field and try to sell it to people)

That Elizabeth Coyne is a brilliant find! Major kudos. they also had a huge (like 6x6') canvas that LOOKED like a Sol LeWitt. though they wouldn't confirm who the artist was and said it wasn't for sale, as it was being entered into an auction Treasure Chest on Hamilton - check it out if you're in the area. they always have great stuff and all sales benefit the Damien Center www.albanydamiencenter.org/

Picked up this little guy in a charity shop (thrift store equvalent i think). Just looked too well painted to be there! Oil on board by Michael Smart of a train called sunstar apparently. Charity shop price ten quid, gallery price for same size, 900-1200 quid it seems! He used to sell through Harrods too apparently. Shame im not really at all interested in trains! This art buying obsession has some odd spill over effects!
Picture does it no justice at all!

Bit of a random one, painted onto canvas them used a lump of an advertising board to back it and frame it. Too funny to leave behind for the sake of a fiver. No signatures anyway which is a shame.
