because it would take up a ton of wall space And that's a bad thing? not ideal for someone with a tiny house.. I'd figure something out

I had to go for the flower thrower even though the odds are massively against me
Hopefully I'll get a chance down the line to try and grab a can

Just wow! Best way of selling art online I've seen so far. I was at work and during a short break I saw the shop is online and made an impulsive "buy" and went for the basquiat print. A little bit later I realized how long you could think about all that and the final decision and that there was no need to rush. But no regrets so far. Now it is what it is and we will see. I only regret a little bit that i didn't thought a bit longer about my answer. But whatever, fun nevertheless! Good luck to all of you!

Well, I managed to apply for a clock.
I can hang that on the wall without any nagging from the mrs at no more wall space.
lets see if i'm selected to buy one

Me too.... got excited. Applied for two, I hope they honour the first attempt. I would be happy with my first application for a Spray Can... Shit. Did'nt read the '1 per houshold' rule.....

Couple random thoughts:
1) I am surprised that grossdomesticproduct.com was available as a website and he has a trademark next to it? Given it is a common economic term, that must have taken time to setup meaning this wasn’t a “last minute” thing and took some serious planning...plus some lawyers. Anyone have insight/thoughts???
2) The way things are being sold (not first come to boys) and the products themselves are brilliant. I went with rats clock because it reminds me of the BOTI, which was such a fun period of my life rushing to see his works as they got discovered that magical month.
3) Given that the money is going to help refugees and the darkness of so many of the pieces, I was surprised that being funny was determined as the tiebreaker. I guess that is the magic of his work to take somber themes and find a unique angle but that almost devalued the shopping experience for me personally as I guess I probably take these things too seriously (sorry to be a downer)
4) Banksy remains king of PR and would call this another huge success and can’t wait for what’s next!!

I went for the drones, i think theyre ace! It was a toss up between those and the mounted cuddly animals. It seems lots of people have gone for the Basquiat print, which looks nice but I'm not a huge Basquiat fan.

When the deadline has passed, I'd be interested in seeing how others responded to the art question (or as best as you can remember).

does art matter?
Yes, that's why I can't stand people who haven't mastered their art - like that cunt Adam Bloom

I went for a can. Spotted some nice looking bell jars in IKEA that I think would be a nice way to display it. Good luck to everyone who went for a print

Well its being judged on its comedy value by the comedian Adam Bloom.... So i won't get one. i didn't get it had to be funniest wins. Still not sure how much it really matters. There must be some sort of predecision. He won't read through hundredthousands of jokes. Might only be important for the smaller editions with only hundreds of interesents. What does 'we check if you are a real art collector' mean? Think i read that after checkout. Maybe if you standing on the pow mailing list? Or will there be a brown coated mysterious visitor in the next days inspecting all the art on my walls? ...I should start a rehang as soon as possible!

Address check would probably kill me as there is an art gallery in the basement of the house I've rented a small flat in

Just realized that there seem to be two ways to write definitely. I like definitely more. Will try to learn that.
One of the most impressive things on the wohle thing for me is how easy it is to ban bots at releases. Hope all the online galleries are paying attention!

Just realized that there seem to be two ways to write definitely. There definitely are not. If anyone has any of the printy giveaway things from GDP that they don’t want, I was unable to attend and would be forever etc etc...
