I'm tempted by the t-shirts but I get a lot of moths in my gaff. I bought some of Gillian Anderson's old clothes one time, and regretted it. How has no one asked you to elaborate on this Gillian Anderson thing?

Thank god for this forum and the members. I started reading the UAA forums again when Banksy showed up and this forum is the garden eden compared to the other one. People helping each other out on releases and are happy with other members when they score a sweet piece. I only see jealousy, hate and talking art down on UAA. It makes me very sad when I see what UAA had become.

It is very nice to chillout for this event though. I was tired to check the site during a week, anxious about this whole madness and when it went live i could heard Bansky whisper "chill mate, take the time you need, just chill"
God knows i hate to be in a rush, i listen chill music every day, drinking tea slowly, taking the time i need for my activities, etc.. Banksy understands me, i DEFINETLY love this.
Wish you all best of luck.

Getting closer!!!!!! I think it’s pretty chill. I don’t expect to be chosen for an opportunity. In the spirit of the way it was organised I’ve applied for one thing, so if I do win it will be special. If I don’t, well, the item will still exist and it’s already given me enormous pleasure and pain. It’s ironic that something designed to give pleasure can cause so many people such anger and pain (next door). It can’t be good for the digestion, eh...? Btw, it’s the refugee truck, obvs...

Same here. I've got one entry, and I really doubt that will result in a purchase, but I have no real expectations (and as a result, no real stress about it).
I think I'd be more stressed if I was trying to wrangle/orchestrate family and friends into attempting to "win" the chance to purchase high value items.
It's pretty great to even have this chance though. And I look forward to seeing what else GDP comes up with in the future.

For anyone still pondering their answer on the "does art matter?" question, Banksy has a helpful hint on his website.

That's very much how I approached the Sale Ends lottery, a joyful period that lasted until people started receiving confirmation emails and posting about it, at which point I became an absolute mess of envy and despair. I am similarly serene again this time round, but am confidently expecting to fall apart any day now.

'Unfortunately, all of our monitoring eventually meant nothing as the terms of service indicated that the winners would somehow be manually verified and selected at random.' Good. Cunts. Perhaps give some money to people helping refugees instead of wasting all this time and all these resources on being a giant bell end.

My Fatha used to grow leeks competitively. Leeks are lovely but, really? However, top seeds sell for mucho dinaro (sic). Leeks mean nothing to me (beyond awesome tasty) so why wouldn’t I profit from it? I didn’t, obvs, cos, wtf? But they might be good people. Perhaps they do give to charity? Maybe they were trying to deny flippers? Could have been an intellectual exercise? Eeeeenyhow, my Halloween resolution is to comment in a passive aggressive manner on false equivalence, then feel bad about it... crikey, I need to have a word with myself, then self flagellate...
