Guess a lot of people are already aware but I thought I should point out again that I'm having my first little solo show very soon. It starts from the 8th of May until the 14th of June and is with artROOM Konstanz over here in Germany. There is an event on facebook about the show where all final info will be posted so feel free to join if of interest to you... www.facebook.com/events/760782507363080/I get asked a lot if there are any pre-sales or reservations possible but sadly we decided against that. Artworks will be put online for those who can't make it to the show most likely in the afternoon of the 11th of May so everyone will have the same chance to purchase. For those forumites who can make it to the opening on the evening of the 8th...drinks will be on me...think they'll be free anyhow  but if not I'll gladly make sure everyone has a good time! |

I wonder how long it would take to track down and buy them all to recreate this hats off to Phil he produces some great pieces. I wish him luck with the up and coming show. I'd definitely love to add a piece of his work to my collection. |

Although the group show with the fencers above didn't go exactly to plan in terms of artists not getting paid on time etc, it was an excellent example of upcoming artists building their exposure by showcasing good quality affordable originals. AP also does this with Herrods every year, however I reckon there needs to be more of this type of show. Incidentally, I've got one of the fencers and very nice it is too.

I hadn't realised about splitting up the word kunstrasen in the german language. I'd always just assumed it meant astro turf/artificial pitch. |

Very good article. Must say he has just done a lovely canvas for me and rather than charging me he asked me to donate the funds to the Nepal fund that Delloy has been raising. Brilliant gesture. It's a lovely piece as well a variation of his burn capitalism burn.
Been sent to the zuK so will not see it in the flesh till a couple of weeks from now but really looking forward to it.

Hey man, what does your name mean ? Theres an article a few posts back in the thread, kunstrasen as a single word is astroturf but split into kunst and rasen its quick art or speed art? I always wondered why the KUNST was bolder and the rasen thinner on the tag to the overlap... |
