Didn't realise he was 70! All these party animals always seem younger. I read a book on him and the band. Crazy the amount of booze and drugs they could go through. RIP

I'm gutted. I was awake when the news broke (around 1am uk time) and even woke my wife to tell her. I had the great pleasure and honour of meeting Lemmy on several occasions as well as working for Motorhead numerous times. Such a down to earth, straight talking, honest man - and had a wicked sense of humour too! The world has lost a true great and rock n roll had lost a legend. I will most certainly be raising a JD to the man tonight. R.I.P Lem, you crazy bastard!!

Saw them up in weedgie land at the Apollo , way back when the sound was damaging..
Fast Eddie was on fire , filthy Phil .. Nuts and Lemmy simply nonchalant...
