Hi! Curious to hear thoughts on this collaboration...considering one of the pieces, but they seem very pricey...after all the work I've seen and everything I've read about Stik, it seems like this is the price I am going to have to pay if I want to own any of his work..am I correct in thinking this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! I love stik, but this collab does nothing for me. Saying that, there are not many collabs that I really like. It took me a while to get to really appreciate stiks work, but it's the simplicity that makes it what it is, and there is too much going on with this one, imo. I don't own any of his work apart from his book prints, so wouldn't say no if I was gifted one, but certainly wouldn't be my first pick. If you like it though, go get it.

There are several.
That I know of - A small format (same size as book print approx) - A Liberty "test" print - A Baby print
Probably more that I don't know of. They were pricy but considering what Stik prints are selling for now not sure they appear that pricy anymore
As to whether the collab adds to the work or not is subjective. I find 2 of the above 3 very nice and one not nice at all.
Will try to dig up some pics
EDIT I now recall that there are 3 pieces done with the the small print

Yep, totally agree, all art is subjective. As I said, I love stiks work, but hopefully one day when I get one, this wouldn't be my first choice. I'm sure if I had many stiks in my collection, then I would probably want to go and hunt one of these down. Not slagging it off at all and as I said, I wouldn't say no

This is the one I've come across...I kinda love it...but at $6000, I certainly cannot afford it! Personally I'd go for the woodcut Commissioner has.... Cheaper and more unique IMO

I can't help but think that there is a figure missing on that one.

This is the one I've come across...I kinda love it...but at $6000, I certainly cannot afford it! Yeah the price on that one was steep ! I also think the fact that LA2 used a black pen the exact size of Stik's lines doesn't work. Horses for courses innit, but that one I don't particularly like.

There was also this huge canvas that Dorian Grey had at Scope last year. Massive pieces, with one of the weirdest compositions I have ever seen, no clue what is going on there !

Are they really going for that now!! justvan accident I guess , or a drunk hipster who wanted to make a performance in the arms if his lipstick girlfriend between morning fuck and evening drunk.., I mean thus mean nothing . As for the LP Love in the air of Banksy ... 6000 in auctions , 145 on Discogs.. Too much cocain .. There is a big thread ( and the happy seller ) in the parallelWorld of this parallel forum , between Berline walls..! Just push the door or open the window and you will get it ..

quite prefer LA2 over stik, but to each their own. Never knew these even existed.

Here is mine. I absolutely love it, looks like the little guy is levitating This piece is sick! Did you get it at the Dorian grey show? Or someplace else? If you don't mind, what did you get it for? The piece I'm looking at is very similar but I wanna see if the price is on pace with what you might have gotten your work for...thank you!!

I would quite fancy a nice piece by LA2, but nice big canvases of his are not that easy to come by Same old works on paper and smaller canvases floating around, but none of the good stuff. I really love what he does though, hypnotic stuff
