What's going on with dolk...
In general , viewing from a height on the other side , he appears have been living at the overlook for an extended time.
I could be wrong , or barking up the wrong simile ... , but sure those old Volkswagens sure do live forever.

No idea but he has lots of material that would make good releases. It seems to coincide with the negativity that Whatson received.

Dolk is known world wide and will always have his followers/collectors, especially in Norway where he is as popular there as banksy is in the UK. I mean by that, the general public know who he is.
Just because a few People on a forum thinks he isn't popular doesn't mean it is so. I very much doubt most of his collectors who buy his original pieces go on these forums and I'm sure it's probably the same with many of the established artists we follow on here.
I bet when he brings out a new print,it will still sell out

I would question using whether or not a print sells out as a barometer for success. Btw, I'm also happy to state I don't own any of Dolk's work, thus I don't have a vested interest.

The drop in the Krone vs the Dollar and the Pound plays a big part in it also.
Sleep Walker and Chief sold out and they are not anywhere close to his best work in my opinion

I believe Dolk has used his time well, and will hit us all with a hammer soon. His recent activity on IG shows something is going down:-)

If it's worth £500 or £1500 is of little importance to me, if that's what you're aiming at. It will not make me happier or richer, nor sad or poor.

I do think that all artists popularity fluctuate from time to time, I think he is just too popular to just fade away. Your are right about print sales, I bet certain galleries would buy all of his new prints from source if they could. I'm also the same, I don't now own any of his work, still like some of his work though, really enjoyed his bergen show
