Noob to this forum. My collection is at www.hockeyandart.weebly.com - Looking forward to checking this place out and hopefully picking up an EXTREMELY well priced Harrington Sampson or Unveiling or a Miller Heroin in the future.

Good afternoon everybody. I am a graff lover & writer, actually full on hardcore graff, the arty stuff leaves me cold. If I wanted nice pictures there are many more accomplished artists that I would turn to before Street-Artists. I consider most of it large-scale tattoo art and the real art of getting up on the street is dying out. The buzz of planning, preparation and then laying down a decent piece in an illegal environment (roof-tops, bus / train yards) is a big part of the scene for me, having a letter in your back pocket giving you permission takes all of that away and so then it is just another big advertisement dressed up as bad art (sorry if that upsets a lot of people). The current batch of Street artists seem to be a big bunch of luvvies on their gap year and very few should really be considered street-artists. After such a bold statement I'm probably going to find I'm in the minority I am Happy to be here and hope I can contribute, maybe even learn to appreciate some 'Street Art'
