would anyone be interested in doing a regular mixtape swap? or more realistically a mix-cd swap? something I really miss about "social media age" is getting mix-tapes and discovering new tunes.

that's about where I'm at now  side note - anyone ever go back and listen to mixtapes they made years ago? i recently came across some that were made while courting my now wife. sappy, cheesy, pretentious. it's got it all the ones for ex-lady friends... now those are gold  |

I wouldnt have anything to play a cassette or vhs on anymore. I did find a mixmag cassette in the garage a few weeks back but my old TDK D60's and D90's are long gone.

The old rave tapes early sasha mixes from shelleys in Stoke and eclipse in Coventry. Great times back then. talking of mixing, I'm buying a apple mini book mainly for commuting and work stuff, anyone got DJ software for their Apple they can recommend? Thought I'd have a mess around when we have a pool party, play some old tunes |

jeezuzjonessnr are you just looking for software to run you apple as a controller or are you thinking of buying a controller as well? If the former then Virtual DJ is pretty good. Using just your laptop obviously reduces what you can do, compared to turntables or a controller. It can be quite fiddley using a keyboard. I hear you can now use Spotify with some of the software available, so that obviously increases the availability of tune'idge. If you're thinking of getting a controller, speakers etc and having a set up (as I have) let me know, I have some bits and bobs I'm looking to sell.

Yeah just the laptop software and I will get Decent wireless speakers, will check out virtual DJ. It's just a mess around for bbq's and to compile mixed playlists.
