I have visited Bristol a few times and seen a lot of the more obvious works and locations. Is there an idiots guide to the lesser known locations such as the more out of the way areas that you wouldn't know are there otherwise?.. Postcodes, street names or even route maps etc? Obviously Banksy, but would love to see pretty much everything else too when I go down this weekend with my camera. Any help or link to where this may have been discussed would be great! Thanks lots

feralthings is the man to ask, also worth digging up the Bristol graffiti thread on here, I'm sure that will give you some tips. The book on Banksy locations by Martin Bull is worth buying as that has all the postcodes etc and the Banksys tend to be in the areas where there is other streetart too IE Stokes Croft.

You might want to start by checking out:
Devon Road (the section that runs adjacent to Washington Avenue) St Mark's Alley (runs adjacent to Mivart Street) Mina Road (the tunnel towards the northern end) Junction 3 of the M32 (the pedestrian parts below the road level) Brunswick Square Dame Emily Park St John's Street North Street Nelson Street Frogmore Street Picton Lane

In my opinion I wouldn't venture too far off the main road at Stokes Croft at night.Especially if you've got a camera round your neck.
