mikeydread I didn't see the cats. But to be fair I didn't spend as much time as I would have liked there. It was a bit rushed. Amazing place. Love Fanakapan piece as a bit of a fan. The view is just something else. More excitingly they're clearing some of the old Berlin Wall for new artists. Can't wait to see that. My first time to Berlin. I can't recommend enough. Amazing city with something for all.

My daughter and son in law are heading to Berlin in July and want to see a good range of street art. Is this a place that is easily accessible? Any one recommend any other sites to see great street art in the city.

Any one recommend any other sites to see great street art in the city. Urban nation,Urban Spree & the East side gallery for starters. I have a tube map somewhere with a few of the bigger pieces marked on it if your looking for anything in particular. SAN with justkidsofficial have a show there next month which should be worth attending.

I agree with mikeydread777 it is worth it to go to UrbanArt, which is on Buelowstrasse. I believe you can take the U2 now. One stop before on Gleissdreieck is a wall worth seeing on the Mercure Hotel. Urban Spree is on Warschauer Strasse - definitely worth going. If you take the S42 or S41 which is a ring tube - it goes in a circle, you can get off at Greifswalder Strasse and see the big Herakut mural: and then you can get off on the train line two stops further on to Schoenhauser Allee where you will find the big Roa mural with the rats:

It is not too bad to get to Teufelsberg. I believe you change at Westkreuz to Heerstrasse, if I am not mistaken. Then you have to walk about 20 minutes. You will have to take a whole day off for this. There are certain opening times for the tours. I think the first one is at 12 pm. Anyway am Schlesischen Tor you will even find an Os Guermos. Just getting around Kreuzberg you will find lots of street art: Berlin is full of street art, you will find quite a lot eventhough you would not make it to Teufelsberg. mikeydread777 and me are trying to get some maps running. It's a lot of work though as there is so much out there. Luckily the walls in Germany are not so often changing as they do in London. I currently got full time work and I am studying in the spare time but it will definitely happen... We hopefully get a lot updated for next month. So please stay tuned.

Oh no! Just realised I wrote Urban Art instead of Urban Nation. My mistake...

I was in Berlin for the weekend. Didn't have much time as we were there for big birthday party. However, we managed to get to some galleries on saturday. There are some nice shows right now. We visited Blain Southern Gallery with the Harland Miller show, JR gallery with a small Amanda Marie exhibition and Circle Cultre gallery with new pieces by XOOOOX. We even came across some of his pieces in the city. All these galleries are pretty close to each other. Walking distance at Potsdamer Strasse or some side street. And it's not far from Buelowstrasse with Urban Nation too. Take half a day of your time and visit these shows if you got a chance.
