The annual Art Yard Sale is back! Market stalls manned by more than 30 artists will transform Brighton's Jubilee Square, creating what promises to be a treasure trove for urban and street art fans. Each artist has devised their own unique concept or idea for the event, with plenty of live art, commissions and interactive experiences planned for the day. All art on sale will be priced between £25-£250 with plenty of bargains to be had. Artists taking part include Ben Eine, Eelus, Aroe, Lucy Sparrow, Maria Rivans, Magda Archer, Copyright, Static, Pure Evil, Ryan Callanan, Magda Archer, Graham Carter, The Thomas Brothers, Joe Webb, Seb Lester, Gemma Compton and more. Ben Eine will be creating ink block personalised creations on the day, as well as hand finishing an edition of 100 Brighton-inspired prints. Pure Evil will be hosting a kids art workshop (with a twist) and felt corner shop artist Lucy Sparrow will recreate bric a brac typical of car boot sales, as well as customised Campbell's Soup Cans, all in felt. Calligraphy king Seb Lester will for the first time ever bow to public demand and produce commissioned names in gold leaf lettering on request (he receives around 100 emails every day with requests for these). In addition the event poster has been designed by local artist Bonnie & Clyde, large specially printed editions will be for sale for signing with 100% proceeds being donated to homelessness charity Brighton Housing Trust. As there are so many street artists involved in the event, the organisers felt it seemed fitting to support a charity that helps people who often have to sleep rough on the streets. The event will take place from 11am-5pm on Sunday 5 June 2016 at Jubilee Square, New Road, Brighton. For more information visit www.artyardsale.co.uk.

I may go. I'm kind of on a buying moratorium, but I live in London and I'm free that day. I'm not sure if atmosphere alone would make the journey worthwhile, but I'm tempted to risk it if the weather's not offputtingly bad.

Similar question from me if anybody has details Not 100% on this but think he's got an alphabet of ink blocks and is taking commissions where you can request a message of choice. Will try and find out more info, sizes etc and report back.

The art Republic dollar thing is just weird. They obviously don't trust their artists ?

Looks awesome. I really like a couple of the Eelus pieces I've seen (there's one on ebay already, obviously). In the end I'm stuck at home, working and watching the sun shine outside. Bah.
