So want to go and see this, sure it will be a hell of a show. I never made it to the borondo show and regretted it big time after seeing the pics. He's one of my favourite artists at the moment, but sadly still don't have any of his prints.

I am bloody excited about this show.
Whilst I appreciate a few think his best work on the streets doesn't translate to prints, his original works, especially those painted in the last 18 months, are absolutely incredible.
There's real diversity in his technique and style (you dont look at a painting of his and recognise it as his, because of his style) and all of his works provoke thought and debate.
Have followed his progress for the last few years and am really enjoying how his is continually improving and changing.
Cannot wait for opening night.

So wish I could have got one of these. I hate paying over the top after a release, but if prices come down a bit, I might have to bite the bullet.

new Pejac pieces in Croatia CAMOUFLAGE (Tribute to René Magritte) | RIJEKA, CROATIA “On a surrealistic level I made a call to attention to nature’s survival instinct - flock of birds camouflage as broken windows in order to blend in and disappear to the human eye for the sake of their survival. As a secondary reading I’m playing with a tribute to René Magritte’s birds holding the sky within them.'' Pejac ASHES TO ASHES / RIJECA, CROATIA “Before taking off to Croatia it was sadly brought to my attention that the country bear hunting tourism is on the rise thanks to their endless beautiful forests holding a large bear community. Luckily I’m convinced that despite how many animals get killed for amusement, nature will always persist. In such spirit the work was not painted but revealed by scratching off the wall.” Pejac BRAIN DRAIN / RIJECA, CROATIA “'A representation of humanity where people can be seen as drifting jellyfishes with complex thinking minds. We are all highly capable minds carrying a subtle hidden dark side capable of inflicting damage to others we cross path with. At the same time it is symbolising the forced exodus of creative minds from their origin places in the search of a better life.” Pejac .
