A few weeks ago I started corresponding with the "Hijack," because my fiancé (her name is Kat) and I are a huge fan of his black cats he is spraying on the walls/ streets of LA and NYC. We are both avid followers of his work on Instagram so I had the idea to try and get him to commission a painting of one of his black kats for our new house. After much talking back and fourth he agreed to do a creative original painting in collaboration. Below you will see images of the custom painted "Black Kat," named for the sake of my fiancé and even hand inscribed on the back of the painting.
"*Black Kat* Life was a p-zzle u were my missing piece," in the vein of his father he included a thumbprint and the year "2016." He also signed both his real name (Jacque Guetta) and his pen name (Hijack).
We are now in the process of getting it framed and mounted on our wall in new home. Thanks to Hijack and Team (especially Tera)! This piece will be in our family forever and is one of the coolest pieces I know own!
