On holiday and finally have time to make a list of all the art I've bought in the last 10-15 years. So I'm thinking of making an Excel spreadsheet as the main list, print it and store it with all (printed) screen grabs, images, COAs etc.
Is there anyone with a template for this?
What should I put in the sheet? So far I have
• Artist • Name of the artwork • Edition number • Signed? • COA • Price paid • Original price • Date bought • Bought from • Registered to • Documentation (screen grabs, images, original packaging) • Notes
Am I missing something?

You may also add "Publication" and when applicable add the reference (book, year, publisher and page). And add as well "Exhibition" and again if applicable list where your pieces were exhibited. I have an xls as well and then all coa & invoices stored in a separate folder and scanned as well in case of fire or anything at least I can prove the value. I also have an appendix were I collect articles about the artists I own a piece from. Hope it helps.

I'm apparently a lazy bastard. For many years now, I've been using the tools provided by the EB Forum. It has most of the information you are looking to store. While it isn't the only thing I use, and I don't post all of my art to it, for a free tool, I think it's pretty darn good.
