The issue is the culture we live with, where acts like these don't get punished. American juries are citizens of the communities - peers to the defendants and the victims. we need to hold people accountable for their crimes before any change will come and having a presidential candidate who's not shying away from the KKK just flames these fires |

I think it's probably more the latter.... blacks fled Jim Crow South to find the same systemic abuse and prejudices everywhere, even in places considered more "progressive"... it's been going on since the first slave ships landed here. oh the irony - slaves were considered a better investment than the evolving farming technology of the time, now technology has reached the point where their story can finally be captured and shared in real time but on the plus side, Donald Trump let blacks and muslims play golf in one of his clubs. progress! |
