Worst was when I won a very little helps through the lottery only to be taken to a broken Protex link! Emailed Simon and Dora and they sent it to the wrong person lol! I had won an Anothony Micallef Bethlehem instead! I was gutted, tattered and torn plus suicide had crossed my mind at that point! I knew I won the Very Little Helps because when I was in the UK for the lottery I put all of my tickets in the Banksy Box cause I was not interested in the Bethlehem! I still look at those email exchanges every so often just to feel the sorrow and pain! It's quite helpful actually! Man did I beg and beg for that Banksy but POW didn't budge and said it was the IT guys fault! I didn't come out of my office for 4 days. Just typing this makes me want to jump off a bridge! lol That was the worst feeling in the world thinking you won a Banksy only to be told a half an hour later that in fact you DID NOT and it was SOUL Crushing! I tired that Protex link over and over but it never worked till 5 weeks later it actually let me check out! Only to be refunded 2 days later lol! So who ever has print #239 Very Little Helps that is MINE and I want it back!!! I was so angry for months that I boycotted POW which is another blunder I won't get into. But life is so strange sometimes things just work out and I happened to acquire the next 2 releases straight from POW!

Bought the red dolk che canvas at the ghetto 06 had it on the wall for 6 years then sold it. The image had cracked unfortunately due to not being primed properly I was told. Once it was cracked I kind of fell out of love with it. It sold pretty quickly as you'd imagine. I'd still love the image maybe I should go in search of a print. Sold all of the bits below and I'd love to have them all back.

Missed buys which also haunt me are obey Ali collage on paper ed of 5 from 2007 £2750 thought they were all sold as it had a red dot only later realised there were 5 of them.
Dran canvas agreed a price with someone said I'd be round the next day to pick it up he promptly sold it to someone else for £100 more because they came round with the cash
It's all been character building and given me a good outlook on buying and selling. Trusting that everything happens for a reason.

I regret not queuing for i think NBG at POW. I recall it being freezing cold and leaving work at 5pm thinking the queue would already be beyond the edition size so headed home. Later that fri evening was surprised when forum posts said there was still plenty of space in the queue at 8pm. decided not to bother.
p.s could the default avatar be changed to the George W version?. I keep getting funny looks at work when people walk by my desk.

My Grail is a Banksy BME, bidded up to £1600 for on in eBay a few years ago and it went for £1620, still kick myself now why I didn't just put a few hundred quid on :-(
