Hi all Guess i will start with my bio Broke Art is an anonymous street artist and printmaker based in both Wiltshire and Brighton, who’s work encompasses computer based design with the mediums of stencil, spray paint and print. The methods chosen for their work illustrate a bold, striking style and show their desire for accessibility to the public, specifically the importance and ability to spread messages rapidly. Broke Art is currently studying Fine Art Printmaking at The University of Brighton and their work was exhibited in the Brighton University First Impressions show in 2016. In 2015, the artist was the overall winner of the GWP 25 the Anniversary Art Show in Swindon as well as the first prize winner at the National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies in Pewsey in 2010. The subject matter of Broke Art’s pieces often includes politics, society, popular culture and the perception of celebrity, as well as urban compositions combined with traditional landscapes. Facebook Instagrami am also a picture framer so feel free to ask me any questions about framing. latest street work

At times like this I feel that the gift of vision is overrated.

Why? Isn't it a bit, well, obvious? Unless that is your intention in which case, crack on... At the beginning of the movie, Pinocchio is told that if he can prove himself as brave, truthful and unselfish he will become a real boy, traits I feel trump lacks, thus depicting him as Pinocchio appropriate. Secondly, portraying him as a puppet has many political connotations, an example being his relationship with Putin and the Russians. Showing him as a boy implies he’s unfit/unqualified for the job, as well as a his childish activities on social media. Apart from anything else it’s a bit of tongue in cheek that everyone can appreciate and understand, sometimes street art has to be obvious for people to give it the time of day, unless you’re Banksy.
