Just watching Channel 4 News's evening report on The Walled Off Hotel. Excellent. 45 staff hired so far. Wider shots of the area it's situated in and Guru-Murthy explaining a wider context - such as the Second Intifada and the widely documented deliberate targeting of Palestinian water sources by Israeli forces. It staggers me how many people are incredibly uninformed over the internationally illegal land-robbing of Palestinian homes and territory.
I fear for the future of this hotel. Hopefully it will encourage discussion and enlightenment.

Wow! what a great idea! How can he always be that unique? The whole concept is kind of next level art in my opinion... Can't imagine how difficult it is to create something like that without people knowing about. I mean this must have been some months of work from planing and making it real. Explaining the lack of output since dismaland... Hope I manage it somehow to get there! Now I have to watch all the pictures again and enjoy finding new ones  Edit: just watched the whole video and learned that it took 14months. Incredible! |

Is Shadi Alzaszouq ( who were at Dismaland ) have been invited to participated. Anyway, a lot of different artworks and artists in this hotel ! :-) Going there ? Would like. I am a bit shameful : I feel poor ( and I am broke ! ) , so I avoid to participate to the discuss , I won't be able to go there. On the other forum a lot will go. Good for them'! Or I must sell some little artworks... to have money for food first. |
