was lucky enough to be given the personal photos archives of legendary duo Stain-Scout... picked out a few favorites to share... these were all done in the late 90's, early-2000's, and for many an East-coaster, these were the first stencil images they'd ever seen, myself included. and for my money, they're still the best in the game.
both are still painting - Chris Stain did most of the background graff for the Netflix series The Get Down, and Scout had a huge show in Hudson, NY last year with another big one coming up this summer, as well as the latest release in Just Seeds' People's History series. enjoy
