Thinking about buying a print that says it is one of these. Anyone got one? Not too sure what it is by the description I read of the process

No doubt I've just read what you have read but apparently it's where a print is made from a photograph. The photo is etched on to a copper plate or some shiz. I presume the print is then made using the copper and plate similar to linocut or woodcut printing.
I love prints that are made using print methods other than screenprinting. I think it really adds to the character and story of the print. That said, I think most of my stuff is screened.

Thanks, I'm very handsome.
Michallef is way down on my wish list although he is on the list. Is it a unique print or from an edition?

Cyanotypes in particular are super fun to do I've always wanted to do something where a group picks an artist and a random print type and we do it.... some kind of weirdo print club

sorry milo99 forgot to answer you - photopolymer gravure can be a stunning print format if done well.... it's an old print format that's coming back (again, from decreased costs and increased curiosity)... if you like the image and it was printed by a master, I'd say go for it - they can have stunning detain and color l and can be very hands on if they don't cheap out or skimp on time and materials
