Funny to see that while conservatives in UK are failing to acknowledge defeat and are pushing for a coalition government, French people are wondering if having a government with a large majority at Parliament composed mostly of young people (below 25 yo) and people from the civil society is a good thing...
Two extremes if you ask me !!
But yeah, in France, Macron will get majority and all deputes are parliament will be inexperienced people with only one aim, to execute what the president says... A bunch of sheep iconising a fake guy !!
It looks like France is going for riots, strikes and public protest !!

After 7 years of austerity, where the population just basically took it all on the chin, I was starting to think the Conservatives would have to start eating babies on live television to get the public to riot.
Most folk are too worried about making their rent or mortgage payments to risk a criminal conviction or police-related injury.
Look at some of the last riots in the UK and the hefty jail time people were getting for looting UGG boots, etc

Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service has issued advice to magistrates that they should consider giving custodial sentences to riot-related crimes that would normally be punished less severely. And the Crown Prosecution Service has issued guidance to prosecutors to "ask the court to lift the anonymity of a youth defendant when they believe it is required in the public interest that the youth be identified"
The government made it clear that rioting and civil disobedience was extra naughty.
The Conservatives will take the piss,, but they won't take the piss to the point where folk have nothing to lose.
Young people that have nothing/can't get anything are the most likely to physically protest. And the divide between the young-uns and oldies is already there. That might get worse as the young-uns start to feel like the oldies aren't on their side in this.
Anyway, if there are riots anywhere, I hope they're peaceful and no innocent people get hurt. Emotionally, financially, physically.
The public should turn on their leaders every now and then though. Put a bit of fear and humility into them. Let them know that their arses aren't untouchable.
