Finally a hirst I could afford, but it is one I don't like enough to really hang it I guess... It is always a little bit unfair when it comes to hirst and I already spent too much on art very recently, so no, I won't buy it. But I am sure it will raise a lot of cash for the nhs and that is great!

I´m also not 100% sure yet. My wife likes the heart but I cannot see it hanging on my walls. Maybe I will go for a small rainbow.

What's up with the rest of you guys? Good cause and a nice chance to own a real hirst after all, there must be some buyers here no?

I have to say. I purchased a small heart. Quite like it and happy with the cause. no brainer. The edition size will be huuuuuge. Sportsman's bet? I think galleries would have hoovered these up as well.
I will start at 15500 each (probably out by 10x) for the small heart and rainbow.

Quote from his instagram post:
"In total you guys helped by buying 1,097 big rainbows, 3,750 small rainbows, 1,298 large hearts and 3,110 small hearts! On top of these at my own cost I’m having some more of each made for gifting to schools, hospitals, nursing homes and other worthy causes and individuals across Britain."
Makes 9255 orders in total. Expected more.

Expected more. I agree... was expecting a bit more sales as well. On the other side times are tough and economically insecure at the moment. My wife liked the small hearts so I went for one and will surprise her.

I went for the small heart as nice fun piece. Surprised about the edition size. Just shows our art world is a bit of a bubble

I like those but you’re right - not even close to being in my price range
