They do look alright and all that, but really those who purchased, could you not have taken ten mins out your day to attempt this??

I like the canvas and I wanted to support AP's effort for the charity. What are you suggesting that I should have done? Ignore AP's effort and make my own version, copying AP's creativity? I honestly don't think that that would have been the right thing to do, I'm afraid.

Very good point, I have no idea what I was suggesting, had a little tipple and wad just feeling a bit disheartened with the scene, I get like that at times

Plus hunter007 we made a relitively small donation. Getting the canvas and paint probably cost similar. Eg you made the donation direct to DEC as done on here and zaP then sends you the canvas. So he put in fair amount of effort and expense So all was good. Especially for lazy .artistically inept tossers like myself

Can't believe they've been hit by another big one. Let's hope the laz auction brings in some big bucks to add to the total.

Just awful. Even though the bulk of the auction items have sold, we can still help promote and raise money for the cause.
Plus promoting the Laz tenners will be vital. It's not often that people get the chance to purchase those with such sound provenance. Putting the word out to people is the least we can di.
Edit: That's Freudian. *do* not di.

It's not down to me, but was thinking that it would probably be better to raffle the di tenners like Andy did with the silver flags. Money raised from that raffle was nearly double it probably would have raised if it was just put on the bay. Not sure how easy it is to set this up with the right charities, but was just a thought.

I've just read the awful news that there's been another major earthquake in Nepal today. If there is a god I'd like to ask him why he's being such a prick to all those poor people.
Deaths have been confirmed but let's all hope it's not as devastating as the last one.

Terrible news today... Is there going to be a second round of auctions? I've got a set of "Lost Faith In Pop Found Warhol" aluminium prints by Miss Bugs I'd like to donate. Should have a few other bits around when I get a minute to check. Great work so far #NBF, especially delloy - you're a forum superstar!! UmBongo
