Alternate Title: "Quit Pussy-Footing Around and Donate for Nepal" You sir, are a genius. Edit: If anyone would like to alter the text or image, perhaps colour it in? Please feel free. Dolphins or not you've totally killed that brief (and quite possible the unicorn by chopping its horn off not to mention turning the pussy's into boots)..... excellent work Dr Plip & Shady for the caption..... CUTE!

I've donated once but assuming it ends at midnight UK time. Wouldn't mind donating again.

Sorry to clog this thread with negativity, but I need to share this funny story:
So, I donate my Handiedan "That's a Damn Fine Coat You're Wearing" silkscreen print for our charity auction. I also included a free Handiedan print in the tube. The print sells and the buyer, let's call him Mr. Jones, pays Lee. I get shipping details and ship at my expense from Florida to the UK the same day, May 13th. On May 26th, I get an email from Lee telling me that Mr. Jones has not received the item. Mr. Jones requests additional information because the tracking numbers aren't working. I photograph the customs form I received from the post office on my end and send it to Lee. This customs form has the number which I was told would provide tracking information. Tonight, I go on eBay looking at Handiedan items. I find an auction from a member called Jonesuru. He is selling a copy of Handiedan's "That's a Damn Fine Coat..." using the photos and description used in my original charity auction listing. This seller, Jonesuru, is in the same town I sent the print to: Southend-on-Sea, UK. This auction was started on May 22nd, four days before he contacted Lee informing him that the print had not arrived and the tracking number didn't work.
Here's the link to the auction: www.ebay.com/itm/Artist-Handiedan-Thats-a-damn-fine-coat-your-wearing-Original-Art-Print-/400924451008?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5d58f5a0c0
Isn't that a funny story? This Mr. Jones running a scam and wasting me and Lee's time?
No good deed goes unpunished, I guess.

That isn't a funny story at all. Least you don't have to worry about him saying he didn't receive it now though.

Glad you can find humor in it. Sure his money went to a good cause so I suppose he can do with it what he pleases but still... I really just want to bid an outrageous amount & then stiff him, but my eBay feedback is too valuable. Hope he doesn't get what he paid I guess is all we can hope .

I know I should know better at this point in my life, but it still surprises me the level of scumbag some people can be on a brighter note, it also still surprises me how people can band together in the face of a tragedy and put all petty differences aside for a good cause. this community, and particularly members of this forum, really pulled through on this one to raise a great deal of money for Nepal, and we aren't through yet. big thanks again to delloy, LAZARIDES EDITIONS, all the mods and admin here who helped out, everyone who donated pieces, all the artists who made pieces specifically for this cause, everyone who bid, and everyone who helped advertise the auction and raffle

Very sad to be scamming a charity auction. Hopefully the matter of the "unreceived" print is closed in light of this evidence.

Well it ends in a few minutes. If anyone on here wins it, they could be a sweetie and pass on the sellers details.

Sorry to hear that shadynasty. There is always some dirty scum that is happy to sink so low for monetary gain, even with charities involved. They probably thought it would be an easy false claim with there being a middle man involved in the transaction. Both his user id's should be banned from ebay for fraud and reported to police, unfortunately it's too easy to get away with. Hope it wasn't too much hassle for you and delloy to get it sorted.

Well it's sold now. Wouldn't it be funny if the new buyer also claims it hasn't arrived.

It's a sad thing indeed to know there are some very unscrupulous people about especially when it's for charity. I am on the case now though. Great spot by @shadynasty.

So glad to see we reached our goal on the Laz auction. Whether it was donating the small amount I could afford or winning the Gnasher print(thanks Gnasher-it really is lovely) I'm glad to have been given the opportunity to help in some small way. And it's all thanks to the hard work & generosity of you guys. Obviously I'd love to be on the receiving end of a tenner, and like skendo1, would work on a giveaway/2nd raffle if so. But being a bit of a pessimist I find that highly unlikely; so in all honesty I wish you each the best of luck. With so many having done so much during the first round of auctions I can only hope it's someone deserving that will appreciate & cherish it. Best of luck guys! And just threw one last share on facebook. Maybe that'll raise another £10-£20

And on a side note, how did I end up w/ a well hung donkey avatar? Don't get me wrong, I dig it and, it's extremely fitting . Well not the long schlong part, but I have been called an ass on many occasions.
