I've not managed to sell any of my last prints albeit I only advertised them on here and that other forum. I would of hope to of sold a few or got some feedback but no. I know they are UK biased so didn't expect to sell any overseas but are they that bad or do I need to broaden my marketing? I even posted offering a freebie draw if you followed me on insta and got sod all takers on that. Appreciate any feedback good or bad but at the moment I've put my creative endeavours on hold pending a rethink. feeling sorry for myself! www.stender.co.uk/index.php/shop/

Keats,Gauguin,Poe,Vermeer,Toole,Thoreau,Bach,El Greco,Kafka,Van Gogh, to name but a few, all struggled to be appreciated. So keep your chin up, you're in good company.

Mate, nothing wrong with your art.
For me personally they don't jump out as a "must buy to hang on the wall"
Oh the other hand there is only one Banksy I'd want to hang on my wall, and lots of well established artists I haven't seen a piece I would personally want to hang.
Keep at it, keep having fun being creative. Do stuff you like. If you like it someone else its bound to.

You ability to print and make fine prints is second to none, I'm not knocking your concept its just finding that image that speaks to people.
Are you on social media, in particular Instagram, how do you sell yourself?

Thanks All, I'm on Instagram but don't post that much so only have about 70 followers. Have only advertised on 2 forums. I do need to do marketing. It's not cheap this screen printing perhaps I should do a few spray canvases instead.

get active on your social media mate, 75% of my sales come from Instagram and Facebook. with regard to the union jack, its printed brilliantly, but personally i don't feel terribly patriotic at the moment so hanging one of them on my wall any time soon seems unlikely. its not a bad image but it might be the wrong time to sell it, maybe when people start feeling good about being British again. stick at it mate, and get posting on your social media, even if its just sketches or proofs people will become interested and eventually start to buy things.
