i know there are a load of sticker heads on this forum so i thought i would reach out and ask for some help. basically i have a dissertation to write for early next year and i want to do it on how sticker culture has grown into what it is today. because its pretty niche, i know theirs not much academic material (that i am aware of) on the subject, so if anyone has any interesting articles, interviews, books, videos or anything else relating i would very much appreciate you sticking it in this thread. If i get my act together i might also see if i can get some questions sorted for any sticker collectors, makers or just general sticker fans (could even be some stickers in it for you). Cheers people

You should check out the homepage of the HATCH sticker museum in berlin: hatchkingdom.comIt's the first and as far as I know still the only sticker museum worldwide. It's owner is a very nice guy and has a huge knowledge about street art stickers and the development of the scene. I'm sure he will be more than happy to answer any questions you have. And if you don't have the time to interview him you can at least mention the museum in your dissertation That's my first but surely not the last post in this thread. More later...

jkrx I'd never seen those vids before. Nice one. One of the dudes in them DB Burkeman did an awesome book a few years ago covering stickers and their history. worth picking up if you can find a cheap copy. stuckuppieceofcrap.com/What an awesome subject for your dissertation Broke. Good luck with it and post it here when it's written.

stumbled over this a couple of years ago and just remebered and thought it maybe can help you: www.academia.edu/1541190/Combating_Urban_Disengagement_Stickers_as_a_Form_of_Street_Arti found it because of that pic on page 37... and i totally forgot to mention that i'm a collecting and producing stickers for some years myself and if you have any questions about my collection or my strange relationship to stickers in general, you are welcome to ask!
