CHAZME 718 solo show at Street Art Place | Rome
Chazme 718's work in the last 3 years had a considerable maturation, his cities gained consistency, and went always closer to the world and the spaces that De Chirico loved so much to depict. Desolate spaces, that communicate a strong empathy, with an immediate immersion by the watchers in the visual and emotional artist's world. We could talk about a Rationalist painter, after almost a century after the homonymous architectural current. In the exhibition, that collect 25 works, among canvas, collages and sculptures, Chazme's cities, "silent" and "empty" let us live a universe where these prevailing, geometrical, and at the same time inhumane constructions dip us in an "Unnatural Silence" a "Perfect Silence", that aims to make us think about these enormous holders of people, the Cities.
