I don't think we have a thread for him on here, Igor Taritas has a solo exhibition coming up at a new urban/contemporary art gallery in Italy

Igor Taritas is a young Croatian painter whose work plays with space, architecture and perspective in a continuous effort to depict the 3D world on a 2D surface. Though surreal, his settings are based on mix of real images which give the sense that they are photographic documents of futuristic cities, mansions or other urban surroundings.

Very "international movement" influenced, those concrete and glass buildings from the 30's onwards, originally had bright coloured bits like these paintings do.... only b&w photos and modern views paint them all as white.

It's mine, I bought it around March time I think. It's huge but one of his smallest pieces on wood. 1 m X 88cm ! I love it.

Gladly! Here are some "in situ" pictures.

Happy to post more detailed pictures if anyone might be interested.
All the works have a lot of details, thick paint layers, wood inclusions and "glitches" that are noticable when looking at the painting up close.
I'd genuinely say they look a lot better in person, than on photo.
