OK, I'll play. My favourite album is the depressingly obvious Hunky Dory, and though I'm not sure it's his best, my favourite song is the pleasingly obscure 1984/Dodo. I like the live version from the 1980 Floor Show more than the studio version, but they're both great.

My favorite album and song is without any contest, Heroes. I saw him in Lyon, far away, I was 16 and it was magical . Then I saw him again closely, next to me, as all fans , after my job, waiting hours and hours under the snow until 11 pm , at La Premiere of Just a Gigolo, ( I shot a photo ) and then ... going back home by feet crossing all London ( I lived then at Acton Town ! From Trafalgar it’s a big walk lol )! - I even saw a stabbed guy while I was walking in the streets, a giant blonde one, shirtless, holding his belly but not complaining near his mates, going back and working only 4 hours after in the morning at the RAH ! Was it a Sound & Vision lol ? :-)) we can be heroes just for one night !
Major Tom, Ziggy, Hunky are all great albums but Heroes is an achievement, behind the wall, masterpiece of depressed and poetry The must for love, true love, and peace, so creative ! I was - I am still - a fan, anc he is still really the Cracking Star ! ( the photo that I have taken with a rubbish camera - instamatic kodack - and I have been so lucky ! I should make a print ! ( pic in reality is orange, and I thank the studio - there was my friend Romanywg in this photograph festival - who helped and gifted me this unic piece of art of/for David Bowie , smiling and saying hello to his chauffeur !
