If I view a post via the profile tab, and then go and read something else, when ilook at that thread again the 'new' button doesn't register that I've already viewed that post.
Does that make any sense or clear as mud?

It is because the "new" notification is linked to the "thread click" - so when someone posts something new in say the Street art thread, a "new" will pop up next to that thread...when you click it - it will disappear. However, when you access the "post" via the profile tab you are taken to the post directly, bypassing the normal way of accessing the thread. However, when you go back to your profile, the profile notification will have gone instead. |
