don't remember seeing this posted yet, but did anyone else see the new Invader Scooter print? Edition of 88. Hong Kong $6800 (about $875 USD) personally not a fan at all. Invader continues to disappoint me with his prints lately. gets my vote for worst print of the year so far

Gotta agree that Invader is releasing some pretty poor prints. Trouble is I bet they still sell out and the money keeps rolling in!

makes me angry how lazy and boring this is. I've been campaigning for Invader to try something new but this is just rubbish

Not my cup of tea. I guess the nostalgia doesn't do it for me?

The whole show was a pile of crap. late April Fools joke maybe? Curious if either of you saw the show in person? I personally like the explosion print, then again Sea of Slime has been growing on me ever since the release....figuratively of course).

invader has a body of work so large and so great that he'll always have a place in my heart. Just not feeling his work lately

Yes, I should also add that there is a lot of Invader works that I do like; his "traditional" pieces. I admire and appreciate his whole concept, but the pop culture "re-imagined" in 8 bit doesn't float my boat. I also thought the LED pieces were a bit gimmicky. There were some pieces in the show that I did like, in particular, the explosion and a few of his more traditionally styled works.

Wouldn't fancy the explosion on my wall but the image in person is so awesome. I have it on tshirt. Beautifull. To me the scooter was the best of the 3 prints. Being a longtime invader fan it was nice to see him release it as a print as the scooter has seen many appearances in his films and even as a sticker over the years. Played a very important part in the early invasions I believe. To me the show looked like one of his best for years. Just wish I could have made it over

doesnt do anything for me, but to be honest he started to drop off my radar after the big laz show a few years ago when the recycling of album covers indictated this cultural necrophilia period was begining to go stale. Bad men worked well due to their size and impact. Still a big fan of his street stuff. I considered his last one whilst in the cart @ POW but dumped it. Maybe I should have just got it and churned it on the secondary.

(Why do you think it's homily) Asia is very digital plus it also could be him looking at the future. Not saying this is his concept but consider........ Street art of the future.....imagine if he could invade digital screens. If they were to hack in invaders. Consider Piccadilly Circus , Times Square or down town Tokyo' digital screens being Invaded......now that would be something. So may be a glimpse of the future rather than nostalgia !!

I hadn't considered that concept, but if that is where he is going with it, I would have to change my tune. Seeing him invade a prime space like that would be amazing.

If that was his scooter that he used to nip around Paris putting up space invaders, then that is obviously a key player at pivotal points in his life as a street artist. So I think it's nice that he's sharing that with some of his audience through this print. I also think it looks kinda cool.

I like scooters and Invader but it's not for me either. Quite liked the explosion print but not at the price he wanted. Did not make the show but I thought the LEDs looked wicked but the best thing I thought were the 3D stickers! (If anyone's gotta spare set let me know please)
