Hi all, will be in Lisboa for a week starting this Saturday.... Can you give me any (non) Art related hints? Galleries, Murals, Museums or any other stuff worth a visit?
Any help would really be appreciated, thanks in advance! Cheers

If you go down to Belém to see the Borondo which Commissioner mentioned then you've got to have a Pastéis de Belém - the best egg tart you will ever have! The Underdogs Gallery has put on some great shows and they're about to open an exhibition by Pedro Ferreira and Rita João. The 'must-see' piece in Lisboa though has to be this Os Gemeos x Blu building on Av. Fontes Pereira de Melo (photo pinched from this blog):

Just back from lisboa, had a great week, also thanks to your recommendations. Been to the Os Gemeos x Blu piece and saw a lot of stuff... Can really recommend going there as there s a lot of stuff going on streetartwise... Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the Underdogs gallery... They were really nice and helpful and organize street art Tours around lisboa every saturday. It was scheduled to take three hours but it were 4 indeed... Walls by Sainer, vhils, How & Nosm and many others could be seen and there s an Art store downtown where you can buy their prints by different artists... If you have the chance to visit this great city, you should definitely check that out! Cheers guys

Indeed, really loved the vibe in this city, people are so friendly and open minded, nice weather as well.. Would definitely like to pay a visit one more time ... Was really impressed by the Sainer piece, large scale and artistic detail struck me most ... Will have him on the radar for future works!

Vhils - Loures Grande Lisboa Subregion This collective piece was realized with the participation of the community from its conception to its end creation. The artwork features several collage elements and some signature Vhils' chiseled imagery such as the centre eye. @t Quinta to Mocho

may as well keep this thread. . Alexandre Farto aka VHILS Recently invited by Ruben Alves, director of The Golden Cage to create the cover for “Amália, As Vozes do Fado” a new album dedicated to Amalia Rodrigues, a famous Portuguese fadista and actress.
A beautiful street piece made in collaboration with road workers from the Municipality of Lisbon using cobblestone. The piece is located somewhere in the haunting Alfama neighbourhood.
