I'm going to preface this post by saying I have proof-read this post and the location isn't a typo. Anyway, New York style-master Faust has his first UK solo show next month...in Stoke-on-Trent. The exhibition is at Upstairs Gallery which is located at 51-53 Piccadilly, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 1HR and will run from 5 June to 29 July. The show with feature Faust's trademark calligraphy and he will also be painting a large wall opposite the gallery:  |

Wish I was going to be able to attend this...a friend of mine in NYC bought a piece directly from Faust as a birthday gift to his girlfriend a few years back, great piece.

Faust has released his first print to coincide with the show. It's a screen print called ‘ It Was All A Dream', signed and from an edition of 100, 50 x 70 cm on GF Smith Colorplan Cool Grey and available here.  I'd love to see some photos of the show and the outdoors wall if anyone has checked it out yet. |

Gutted I missed those: http://instagr.am/p/BTT5ybRDoCP But it seems like there wasn't even a real chance even if I had known about the release: http://instagr.am/p/BTULcjKjltB Don't understand why he didn't just cancel all the backdoor buyers and sell them again? But maybe I don't know enough about Internet law  But at least it sounds like there will be a SURE pin available soon! hope this will be a fair fight ... |
