I recently received a Mr. Bingo print, his regular Amy Winehouse print... And sadly it had TWO major creases... It went for a good cause, but I was really looking forward to this print. Now, it did not cost me very much, but still... It hurts.
I've decided just to let it go... FWIW- the print was just rolled... No paper wrapped around the print... Loose, really. Cardboard tube was hit somewhere during shipment, causing the two significant creases; and no tape around the caps... Oh well, ce la vie.
Carry on.

Your profile indicates "Lalaland," are you in LA? If that's the case then take a trip to Poster Mountain in Northridge, they flatten out creased prints regularly. They flattened a Petrol Bomb with creases and edge damage for me for $50 (prices may have risen since then) and it looks good as new. But first, just store it flat for a little while. A few times I've had what appeared to be major creases flatten out completely just from being stored flat in the portfolio for a few months.

Threaten to never work with the gallery / individual again, get another one sent, demand a discount.

misterwhisper - Yes I live in the land where dreams are made Thank you for the suggestion, but it irks me just to think that I have to spend over 50% of the print's value... Will try the iron man method... Plus the paper bag (or butchers paper).

I often use an iron and a spoon. Works great for minor issues.

Send insults to MR Bingo and tell him to fuck his representatives... Sorry, depending of the crease, yep, the iron will help a bit

Medium hot iron, good quality brown paper, fine spray atomiser and de ionised water. Get some practise in or pop round to see me and I'll do it for you.

Even better would be to source the same paper(gsm) and practise on that

Or... Not be be too radical, get it to a professional restorer and get it sorted? Rather than breaking out the iron and risking really screwing it up, save the chance and get it done properly.
