Need to send a 50x50cm canvas to the States. Value is around £1k so will need insurance. Any recommendations?

www.wedelivertheworld.co.uk/Delloy recommended these guys to me, and I have used them for UK, Europe and USA with no issues. They are basically just a middleman comparison site, but works well. If you need any info on safely packaging the canvas let me know

I'd definitely recommend flight logistics, having used them a few times... www.flightlg.com/

Was just going to bubblewrap the fuck out if it. If you have any more educated advice...

I cover the painted side with glassine paper, or I guess you could use acid free tissue paper too. I then use canvas corner protecters. Then sandwich it between 2 sheets of 6mm ply wood. Cut to size from B&Q Then wrap that in loads of bubble wrap. Then tape it all over with parcel tape. It's quite time consuming and expensive to do, but if the canvas is worth £1k, it is worth it. Last thing you want is any damage.

Cheers all. When I've sent my canvases out to buyers I always used plywood to cover them Aza and people always took the piss! I always thought it made sense
