At home with a sick little one, so I thought I would start this thread to pass the time.
What do you consider to be the iconic image of the artists below. Prints only, I am leaving out street pieces and originals as that would open up a huge can of worms.
Feel free to add other artists to this list.
(Please no more than two pieces per artist)
Banksy - Shepard Fairey - Invader - Eine - Dface - Faile -

I think it's too bold a color and distracts from the stencil itself

Banksy : Rude Copper and Monkey Queen Obey : The Protester and Imperial Glory ( too much Is too much for the rest apart Obey The Giant the real Iconic S. Fairey Invader : Say Hello( for Rubik ) and Sign Road ( for Alien ) Paul Insect : Clockworth Briitain ( for me the best print ever in Street art ) Faile, none, or the HEAD of the Dog ( Wolf ? ) . All the rest Is vintage copies From old comics... JR Favellas and Ladj j Still Single Mum ( after a bit redundant - he is not the only one in Street art ) Eine ?! Two ?! Trois ?! Dran ? Books maybe Dolk , a lot maybe as Banksy DFace, none , in fact I like when there is a message in a wall or in a print , not only a beautiful pic for hyping corridors :-) Well , I'm still searching the messages in Invader anyway. His last travel in HK was a bit a disaster ( I don't like when the man copies heroes of comics or TV series. The vintage disaster in fact for a lot of street-artist, as the app' on Instagram. Dale East and Roa are great. Evil and Pejac too.

Food for thought.... can an artist who's not an icon create an iconic work? we won't all agree on which artists we like, but I think some of the artists listed in this thread (while good, some great even?) can hardly be called icons.
if there's debate on whether or not an artist is an icon, they're probably not an icon

It was not to insinuate that the artist is an icon... That would have meant an incredibly slender list or list that was much broader than street art.
